Our Mission

The mission of the Center is to help people understand that our health, and that of our children, depends on the health of the environment, and that we must do everything we can to protect it.

Current Programs

The Center’s Classroom Education Program deepens the understanding of the critical relationship between the environment and human health for students at the K-12, college and graduate school levels.

Former Programs

This program provided the best science available to policymakers by translating the abstract, technical language of global environmental change into the concrete, personal terms of human health for local and federal leaders and staff.

The Scientists and Evangelicals Initiative brought together leading environmental scientists and evangelical Christians to explore humanity's degradation of the global environment, and to help lessen its impacts.
