The Center in the News:
The Center's media outreach efforts are focused on the goal of increasing awareness for those in the electronic, broadcast and print media about the human health dimensions of global environmental change.
April 30, 2008Please join us for the upcoming media workshop "Covering Climate: The Health Angle" sponsored by the Center for Health and the Global Environmental at Harvard Medical School and the Society of Environmental Journalists. The workshop will bring together journalists and editors with the foremost scientific experts investigating the health, ecological and economic impacts of climate change, as well as the health considerations of climate change solutions, to help further understanding of these issues and generate story ideas.
The Center has reached millions of people by appearing in major newspapers, radio and TV broadcasts including as The New York Times, The Boston Globe, The Washington Post, USA Today, Reuters, National Public Radio's Fresh Air with Terry Gross, Fox News and CNN's Larry King Live.
