The Center's Administrative Director, Tracy Sachs, has held several positions of increasing responsibility since she started working at the Center in 1999. Tracy develops and tracks the Center's fund-raising goals, manages foundation relations, and works closely with Center faculty and staff to develop grant proposals and reports. She also provides oversight and management for all Center administrative and financial systems.

With a background in theology and religious studies,Tracy will play a leadership role in the Center's emerging program on Science and Religion. Prior to joining the Center, Tracy coordinated the outreach and marketing efforts for Green Century Capital Management, an environmentally responsible family of mutual funds. A native of rural Virginia, Tracy graduated from Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1992 and earned a Master of Arts degree from the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1994. She and her husband have 3 children and live in Newton, MA.
